Roadie making crunchy noises from front derailleur when in easiest gear

https://youtu.be/RhCPa9et_8E

I'm not sure what's going on here, any ideas, it's not rubbing on derailleur or anything, only makes the noise when under load and in the easiest gear, not when it's being spun by hand, when I use trim the chain rubs when it's in the biggest rear cog and smallest front sprocket but the crunch noise goes away

Perhaps the small ring is worn? What I do hear is really bad shifting technique, though unrelated to your question. Andy
