Sachs chain from ~1996. How do i break it?

I installed this chain years ago, and i've forgotten if there is any special trick to it. I know some chains use special links, or disposable pins, but to be honest i can't remember about this one.

I'd like to take it off one bike and put it on another, since it hasn't been used all that much.

I have a Park CT-5 chain tool..

If it helps, it has silver outer plates and grey inner plates, and the links say either 'sachs' or 'france' on them.

For the old Sachs chains, you'll need a chain tool to undo a rivet. I think it was when Sram bought Sachs that they introduced the Power Link.

If it's an 8 speed, I've never had trouble with reinserting rivets, at least on KMC chains...

9 speed, never tried.
