Need help ordering a new chainring or crank.
I need a new chainring but when I called the manufacturer they said my model is so old they don't have the part anymore.
I've attached an image of the crank from the manual and a photo from my bike. Can someone tell me if it is possible to get this type of chainring, or an entire new crank?
How do I measure it to make sure it fits my bike?

Just google "1 piece crank". You've got lots of options, although the crank is probably fine unless it's bent or the threads are stripped. It's hard to tell until it's been cleaned, but the chain/chainwheel look worn out. 1 pc bottom brackets are pretty inexpensive if the bearings/ bearing surfaces are damaged.

Go get a cheap caliper measurement tool from Sears or Harbor Freight. Disassemble the entire crank & chain ring assembly. Measure the dimensions. Lengths and diameters. Get a magnifying glass and count the TPI threads per inch. Once you’re certain about what you have then, go browse eBay or Amazon or the hundreds of other on line sources for parts. I can usually find exactly what I need on eBay from Asian sources for a low price and no shipping costs. Although it usually takes a long time to arrive from Hong Kong.

If it doesn't interfere with the chain guard, you could at least get a bit more life out of the chainring by flipping it over. That would also give you a chance to measure its dimensions and make sure there are no other parts that need replaced.

He's a little rough but you still get some useful information. Can't tell if that's just muck or disintegration of the bearings, but I'd replace those too.
