Beads

Hey guys,

have an issue with the tubes on my bike. I'm currently refitting the 28x1.35 (700x35c) Rocket Rons and taking the 700x28C Durano Plus off.

I had no issues with these tubes with the Durano's, but the beads wont take properly with the RR's! it's driving me nuts.

It's almost like the base of the presta valve is too big for this tyre?

Any ideas? Only other thing i can think of right now is to try another brand of tubes, but this tube worked fine with the Duranos.

Push the valve in, seat the bead, pull valve back out.
You have the valve seated 1st and the bead is riding on top of it.

No your not. You have to wonder why Bill (and I) knew that problem...

Experience is mistakes repeated many times.... Til you learn not to make 'em. (At least, not to make the SAME mistakes).

How many times have you inflated a tire with part of the tube sticking out under the bead? I know that I did... Once...

Is the little hole in the seat stay (midway between the brake bridge and the seat tube) for a rack?
