Please help me

I have a shimano derailler and there is a washer/bracket thing that has an alan nut going through which holds the wire when tightened. I accidentally snapped the lip off of the washer thing that holds the wire. Does anyone know where i can get a new one/ what is it called?
thank you

Cable fixing plate.
Best to get one of a junk RDER.
Local bike CO-OP or shop.

Hold the phone. What bike do you own? How old is it? Where did you buy it? What is the model Shimano derailleur on your bike? Your question is very vague and you are using unfamiliar terms for the parts. Take some time to be more specific, people are more than willing to help you if you can explain your problem in better detail

Yup. Although it'd probably be easier to swap the whole derailleur.

Do a google search for "cable fixing plate" Amazon has dozens of them listed. Find one that looks like yours.

they aren't all the same, but that little bent/curved tab probably isn't critical if what's left is holding the cable. you can probably make something with a washer, if you had to

I know a bike shop that has a bone-yard out back where a person could probably scavenge something useful. maybe check with your town dump
