Power Meter Crank Compatibility

Hello all, I have a 2016 Specialized Roubaix Comp with a stock Praxis Works Turn Zayante m30 crankset. I have a 4iiii shimano 105 crank arm power meter already. Obviously those two are not compatible, what I would like to know is can I just buy a Shimano crankset throw it in and then use my power meter?

Thank you,
Cliff

You will need to replace the bottom bracket as well. The Zayante has a 30mm spindle, any Hollowtech Shimano crank will have a 24mm spindle. You might be able to just use reducing sleeves, but I've no real idea-- Spesh seems to change BB specs on bikes monthly.

You can get a adaptor sleeve from praxis that will fit your Shimano crankset. Or you can just put a new bottom bracket in to fit. Spec has been using the Praxis stuff for a little while and its pretty good stuff I feel.

Not sure the price difference between the sleeve compared to a new bb but I would probably buy a new bb all together. Seems like a better idea. The praxis stuff on a Spec. is a threaded affair anymore so that simplifies your job but you might have a different set up as DrIsotope stated because bike mfg sometimes do crazy stuff with bb on bikes.

in short yes, you can make it fit with some parts swapping of some sort. Call Praxis, they have good CS. I have their stuff on 2 of my bikes. Both Spec bikes fwiw.

good luck
