9->11 Speed

Hi all,
2010 Specialized Allez Double. I like to frame, and as a bigger rider the frame and the wheels have been good. I'm going to buy a new bike, but want to push this one into a proper winter trainer, and was thinking about moving it to Tiagra or 105, from the Mixed Group it is now. Does anyone know if the fram physically will not have enough space to move from 9-11?

Thanks!
-Kevin

My first thought is that's like buying a new tuxedo to bury someone in.

frame will fit 11 speed, whether your hub can take an 11 speed cassette only you can answer, tiagra only go up to 10 speed

Just use an 11-34 11 speed shimano cassette and you will be fine. They are made to fit the older style freehub.
