bottom bracket shell and rear brake hose

I am putting together my first road bike and also first road bike with hydraulic disc brakes. When putting in the bottom bracket, should the rear brake hose sit on top of the bottom bracket shell or below it? I think letting the hose rest on the bottom bracket shell would cause less strain on the hose?

For reference, this is the bottom bracket I am using: https://www.jensonusa.com/Shimano-SM...Bottom-Bracket

Thanks in advance for the advice.
