Removing decals

I've searched the forum archives for this topic but didn't seem to find a thread that accurately described the type of decals that are on my 2015 Bianchi Volpe.
They are definitely not stickers, it seems as though they were painted on, as I removed 2 of them on the top tube with acetone. However, it's left a kind of residue that I tried to get off with goo-gone, but you can still see the outline of the 'Volpe' in the residue.
Help?
