Zipp Wheel Max Pressure?

Zipp publishes a table showing recommended tire pressures, but does that mean their wheels can't handle higher pressures? Do they publish a max allowable pressure for their wheels?

It's available but they don't make it easy. Kinda stupid actually. Go to the site, select wheels. Then pick the wheel you're interested in. Then click the 'view product details' button. Look at specifications...is it there? Nope. Go to 'Service' and click on the 'visit product service page'. On this page they list the exact same list of specifications, again lacking max pressure rating. Click on the 'Zipp road wheels user manual' button. Scroll down to page 8(!) and it's in the fine print. 72.5psi or 5 bar. I would think they would make that info much easier to find.

sheesh...

Found it, and it actually it's 72.5PSI or the max on the tire sidewall, whichever is lower. Damn, that's LOW!

Yes, but you left out the "lowest of two values" part. Honestly, doesn't instill a lot of confidence in those wheels.

I'll pass...
