Specialized x5.0 disc c brake rattle

Probably been brought up before....sorry in advance...but is there any simple cure for this rattle I've narrowed down my rattle noise to on my disc brakes? Kind of drives you crazy after awhile when hitting bumps.. at first I thought it was my internal cables but it has narrowed down to the brake pads... Thanks

Some pads/calipers have a oddly shaped spring between the pads to both insure their retraction as well as their not rattling about. These springs can get dislodges or otherwise "used up". I assume all the other fasteners and fittings have been checked for proper alignment and tightness. Andy
