Can someone suggest which tool i need to disassemble this crank and remove the bottom bracket?
I've done almost complete refurbs of bikes before with everything except the crank/BB. Gonna tackle that this time, just never worked with one before. Thanks!

I’ll guess the crank interface is a square taper.

Once you remove the crank, it’ll reveal what is needed to remove the bottom bracket.

You'll need a 14mm socket and a long lever to break loose the bolt.
Post a pic of the NDS and we may have a better idea of which BB you have.

Yes, a 14mm socket to remove the nut from the axle, as [MENTION=78399]Bill Kapaun[/MENTION] suggests. After that, a 22mm crank extractor to remove the arms from the axle. What you'll need after that isn't entirely clear from your picture. It's hard to tell, but the drive-side ("fixed") cup looks like it may be octagonal, rather than just two flats for a tool. That means you could be dealing with a French bottom bracket, which could have a non-standard thread.

Get the arms off the axle and post pictures of both sides of the bottom bracket.

Judging from what looks like corrosion on the BB cup in the photo, this one could be a struggle. You might want to start applying penetrating oil now.

So this an 80s Peugeot Orient Express. From what I've read they were built with standard threading unlike most of the french designed bikes.
There is corrosion but so far all the other parts have come off fairly easily. Crank/BB is the only thing left on the bike, took me about an hour to strip it all down. I'll take a pic of the NDS today.
