Working Sachs Topedo / Sram T3 hub
Can someone please confirm that I got the workings of a 3 Speed Torpedo correct in this video? Thanks.

Yup, you've pretty much got it. The primary difference between the Sachs mechanism and Sturmey Archer is that the ring gear pawls are taken out of action in first gear by moving the whole ring gear endways and disengaging them from the ratchets. The sturmey Archer design disengages the high speed pawls from inside the ring gear by pulling the clutch back to the fully retracted position. The pawls have tails that extend inside the ring gear and are pushed out by the clutch,
