di2 6770 junction shows red, I'm not sure its charging

I have di2 6670 and I'm not sure its charging properly. The battery recently drained after a week whereas in the past it would run for many months. When I press the button on the junction I see a red led next to the + / - labels. I _think_ this means it needs to be charged but I wish there was more clarity between that and adjustment mode. Anyway, I bought the set from a friend about 4 years ago so the battery definitely has a few years on it.

Is there anything I should look at before replacing the battery?

Assuming your charger is like mine, make sure the USB socket you are plugged into is able to provide enough current.
some small phone Wall socket to USB bricks aren’t able to provide enough juice.

Just plugged in a high power usb adapter and the charger seems to think its fully charged.

My rear shifting seems fine but my front derailleur seems hesitant and a bit louder than normal. I'm really not sure what to make of it.

Update - I think my front derailleur is failing.
