What's tricky for us is to know what kind of headset you are seeking. Loose descriptions without brands, models or photos leave us speculating. I think you would like the right answer first and not many not correct answers first.
So, do you have a threaded headset/steerer? What diameter is the steerer? Is the headset a low stack, an integrated or a outboard cup style? Do you know the various dimensions of the fork crown race seat or that of the head tube ID? Cane Creek has had a good chart for helping to figure this all out. Remember one measurement is worth a thousand of our assumptions.
You can post a photo to the gallery and then ask one of us to copy it over to this thread.
The last bit I'll say is that headsets are like shoes. Typically both sides (or the top and bottom stacks) are paired as a "unit" and sold this way. Few brands and models have just the lower stack available, serarate of the rest of the headset. Andy

Cane Creek offers their 40-Series headsets in a wide variety of diameters and in external cup (EC), zero stack (ZS) and integrated (IS) types. They sell most of them in complete form and as individual top and bottom assemblies. Something in this product line is likely to be what you need.
