SRAM Compatibility 10-11speed

I am getting ready to set up my bike and I have some SRAM compatibility questions for the experts. It's a gravel conversion I did last year just tinkering and I really like it.

On my bike now I have SRAM 10 speed trigger shifters and an X9 rear derailleur. I am getting ready to switch to 11 speed and the XD cassette body and a 10-42 in back. I already have the new wheels and cassette.

My question is, can I get the SRAM flat bar road shifters and keep my current rear derailleur? These are the SL700, on the description it says works with exact actuation rear derailleur. My X9 rear derailleur says exact actuation on it also. Will the road shifters work with the mtb 10sp rear derailleur? It would be great to not need to replace everything. I just don't know if the 10sp exact actuation RD will work with a 11sp exact actuation shifter, and none of the shops I have contacted know for sure, but cautiously advise against it. Just looking to hear from someone who actually knows.

Any help is appreciated!

Thanks! I just needed one, I think I'll give it a try. Anyone tried these, are they just like the sram MTB shifters, but keeping with the 'exact actuation' cable pull for 11 sp instead of X Actuation?
