Tubeless removable valve core clogged

I have been struggling adding air to a tubeless road tire. The removable core was clogged with sealant.
At some point I could not add any air to the tire. I removed the core, tried to clean it, but it still didn't work.
Luckily I had a spare core that solved the problem.
Any known ways to clean the core? In case there is no spare available.

Assuming presta style: snip off the peen from the locknut threads, you can now completely remove the locknut and slide out the valve core. Run a nail or wire through to clear any dried sealant, reinstall the valve core, thread on the locknut. Re-peen if you feel it necessary(I never do). Cheers!

I carry a twisted stainless wire, I remove the presta core and run the wire through the valve stem and then add air after putting the care back in. I don't have a problem with my MTB but my road bike is always clogged.

Household ammonia solution will dissolve the sealant. Drop the core(s) into a jar with the ammonia solution and let it sit overnight. Swish it around occasionally to loosen up the chunks. Remove, rinse, and reinstall.

N.B. it can be handy to have some spare cores on hand, so your bike isn't incapacitated while the cores soak. These can be salvaged off of discarded inner tubes. Your LBS likely has a good supply of those.
