Salsa Dos fork replacement

I have a Salsa Dos (year unknown.) I'd like to swap the current rigid fork for one with suspension and am seeking advice on what would be optimal on a limited budget. I currently have an eye on this:
https://www.ebay.com/itm/264414568023?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=o1IPshWtSkS&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=nNYWh4E8T1m&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Would I be better off with a used higher MSRP fork?

What the heck is a Bucklos. You would be better off with a decent fork, a Rockshox Judy or similar would be a much better option then some unknown fork on ebay. If you enjoy the bike spending a little money on it is not a bad thing.

Here's a mechanical 100 mm travel fork with lockout, adjustable preload, and adjustable rebound damping, by SR SunTour. https://www.srsuntour.us/collections...xcr-32-lo-coil. . Were this my bike, I'd be all over this one.

Around 15 years ago Rockshox made a fork with these features, but I haven't seen one in a long time.
