Measure it? Many will find the bike's specs and trust that listing and most of the time they will be right.

What fit/design style you have, What if the frame interface. What crank set you have. Are all questions I'd want to understand to start with before looking for a replacement. Andy

Remove it and see what's written on it if it is a cartridge type BB. Do you have the necessary tools? Different BB's might require different tools. Bike shop will probably replace it cheaper than you can if you include the cost of tools.

Welcome to BF

What bike? Brand/model/year.
What crank? Brand/model.
THAT will give us something to start with-

Add in the "incidentals" that Andy mentioned.

If you gave me a dime every time somebody incorrectly said they had a sealed bearing bottom bracket, I'd be a millionaire.

You're replacing an existing bb? What's stopping you from measuring it? With your complete lack of any useable information I can't help beyond that.

You figure it out by taking measurements and providing information about the make of bike, and make and model of crankset. Pictures would be a help once you have enough posts to include them

Alternatively, I believe the OP could create a personal album on BF and upload his photos to that - then ask for a photo assist from another BF member.

To the OP: yes, some of the commenters here can be a bit brusque. Don't let that "turn you off" to this forum.

Some of the commenters here are pros who do this for a living - or experienced riders with years/decades of bike maintenance experience. Answering the same questions and asking for additional information literally 100+ times gets a bit tiresome. Thus the somewhat terse responses you see from time to time.

Newcomers to bike maintenance very often just don't realize how much (or what kind of) info is actually needed to answer a seemingly simple question. Or how much a photo helps to do same.

as example https://velobase.com/ViewComponent.a...dfcbe&Enum=115

you can look up your crank in the velobase.
The BB spindle length is listed. I suppose you should consider the rear hub spacing. Like if you’re using a road double on an MTB frame space at 135mm.
