Vintage 105 crank torque

Hi,

Currently rebuilding an 87 Panasonic DX4000 with a first gen 105 crankset. Curious on the the torque to reinstall. I was thinking 25ft lbs but wanted to double check. Thanks!

30 to 40 is closer to most recommendations.

You realize that first generation of 105 was 1982. The second generation came out in 1986. The crank arm and spider is somewhat different in shape.
