replace Shimano br-6500 with br-6700 brake pads?
Can I replace Shimano br-6500 pads with br-6700 brake pads? They look similar but I am not sure. To be clear I am looking to mount BR-6700 pads in a BR-6500 mount.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Yes, but I recommend using The Kool Stop "Dura-Type,Salmon" colored pads. Better stopping power in the wet and dry and the best I've ever found. These will perfectly fit in your current pad holders and shop around for best prices. Kool Stop International - High Performance Bicycle Brake Pads Since 1977

+2 on the "Dura-Type" Kool Stop Salmons. Nun bettah as they say. And, yes, they will fit perfectly in your existing pad holders.
