I have acquired (most of) a bike with a press fit Bottom Bracket BB92(?)
From the limited information I can find, it's for Shimano Hollowtech II

I'm trying to find Cranks for it with 160mm crank arms.
160mm crank arms seem to be sold separately from the hollow spline(?) (not sure of the terminology)
But I do NOT see the spline sold separately. All cranks seem to be permanently attached to the chain ring with the non drive side detachable.

Can anyone point me in the proper direction?

(I'm also open to other BB and crank solutions, but this is a free bike and would like to keep this on the inexpensive side)

i have never seen a Hollowtech II crankset without an integrated spindle installed by the factory.... EVER.

older Shimano Octalink cranksets WERE sold without a spindle mounted by the factory... many of those used the Hollowtech Arms, and those were called "Hollowtech"..

Gonna need to know the Bike make/model/year, and the Gearing you want to use, for anyone to "point you in the right direction".

Most modern Shimano cranksets will fit in your BB92 bottom bracket.

The 160 mm crank arm length does not matter. That is an uncommonly short crank arm length, so maybe that is making the search more difficult.

But whether your crankset has a 160 mm arm or a 172.5 mm arm, all your bottom bracket cares about is that it has a 24 mm spindle that slides into its bearings. And all modern Shimano cranksets (10 or 11-speed) do.

In Dura Ace, you're looking for FC-7800, FC-7900, FC-9000, FC-9100 or in Ultegra, FC-6600 and up. The spline is always with the crankset; it is fixed to the driveside arm.

Hollowtech II cranks have a 24mm spindle. Lots of companies make cranks with a 24mm spindle that work with Hollowtech II bottom brackets ("Hollowtech II" is probably a trademark of Shimano's so other companies might be restricted on how they use the term). Many cranksets construct the drive side crank arm and spindle and chainring spider as a single unit - cheaper and lighter than making the unit disassemblable.

Appleman bicyles makes 155 and 165 cranks compatible with hollowtech ii. Quite pricy though, ~$500 and up. Rotor Aldhu24 is also compatible, but I don't know what lengths they offer or the prices.

Edit: Did a quick look on rotor's site and it looks like they have cheaper options than the aldhu. The Vegast is ~$330 without rings VEGAST 24 Spider Mount Crankset Builder | Rotor America

Shimano 105 cranksets come in 160mm

It would be helpful if you could describe the kind of bike it is and what chainring(s) you plan to run. BB92 usually means a mountain bike. https://jrbicycles.com/products/box-...0aAkexEALw_wcB looks good for pretty average MTB applications. You actually can't fit a Shimano road crankset because the spacing is too wide (they use BB86.5 for PF road).

No, unfortunately not. There is no threads in pressfit bb's. And the inner diameter of your bike's bb is about 41mm, threded HT bb's are smaller.

Yes, if you have mtb cranks, that have longer axles. And also there are some cranks with different thickness of the axle. Shimano has 24mm axles.
