Try these metal mounts for the front and rear. Fender Parts – SKS USA (sks-us.com) Scroll down to rows 9-10 "Sliding Bridge Clip" These are much less bulky but still strong and you can just slide it along the fender to have the mount wherever you want. No drilling or screws necessary. The Sheldon Nuts make life much easier when mounting fenders.

nice. I see they still have those "Secu Clip Safety Release for Full Fenders"

this worked perfectly to stop the bracket rub. I did bend it a bit to get a tight fit but it worked. Now to paint it black so its not so obvious
