Looking for alternatives to Campagnolo cabling. Campy has quit manufacturing colors (albeit white and red), and is just producing black. If I want to go with a colored cable housing which is more compatible Shimano or Jagwire? What about compatibility of their cable stops working (fitting) the Campy levers? IIRC, Campagnolo brake cables have a fairly large stop and I don’t know if say a Jagwire stop would pull through.

Brake cable is fairly standardized, so won't be brand sensitive except for the housing OD, which can be compensated by the choice of ferrule. Brake inner wire heads are standardized for the critical dimensions, so heads which seem slightly different will be the same where it counts.

Gear cables are likewise fairly standardized where it matters, but note one critical difference. The Campy head, while it looks identical is actually a bit smaller than the Shimano head. They're close enough that it's possible to jam a Shimano head into a Campy lever, but once in it'll be very difficult to remove. FWIW Jagwire used to (still does?) mark gear wire heads S or C respectively to help prevent error.

The nice thing about Jagwire is I can order separate brake and shifter housing which makes it easier to mix and match colors.

I always get Jagwire, largely because of the colors available. All my bikes but one are either Campagnolo ten speed systems or older friction shifting bikes.

I've been using Jagwire brake and shift cables on Campag 10 for years - lately I switched to Jagwire Link housing for both 10sp and 12sp Chorus. This is the segmented aluminum housing - not cheap, but completely incompressible and I like the bling factor - comes in a variety of anodized colors (I went with gold to match my gold chains ). The shifting has been faultless in both cases. IIRC if you can't get explicitly Campag-compatible Jagwire shift cables, it only takes a minute with a file to trim the Shimano head down to size. With Campag 10 at least, it's easy to gauge how your filing is going because the socket in the shifter is easily accessible - you can test the fit of the head without having to thread the cable through
