Dumb Question re: Syncros BB

I'm trying to install a vintage Syncros BB, but can't figure out how to remove one of the cups so I can get it into the BB shell. Anyone have experience with these?

If you want to get any meaningful feedback, you should post a photo of said BB or put one in an album for someone else to post.

From: NW Oregon

Bikes: 1982 Trek 930R Custom, '91 Diamondback Ascent w/ XT, XTR updates, Fuji Team Pro CF road flyer, Specialized Sirrus Gravel Convert, '09 Comencal Meta 5.5 XC, '02 Marin MBX500, '84 Gitane Criterium bike

twist and pull... on the couple i've seen, the cover in the center uses an o-ring, and they can get stuck to the cups sometimes.
if it has loose bearings, they'll want to scatter, so open it over a towel or clean oil pan.
some penetrant oil might help.

Squirt some GT85 down the inside of the cups to make it easier to slide them off.
