New Shop video

We recently had a student (junior) from Flagler College (St Augustine, FL) studying Cinematic Arts and Journalism contact us to ask if they can do a short video feature highlighting the work of a local organization.

They were at the shop for about 45 minutes doing the interview and filming in various parts of the shop. It is less then 2 minutes long and was filmed in our new shop.

We were floored with delight when we saw it and wanted to share their work with our fellow mechanics on here.

Enjoy

On a side note, I'm glad I had a fairly clean shirt on that day, LOL

Cool. However, it's not "commited to providing" is it, journalism students, but "committed". And ALL UPPERCASE IS HARDER TO READ than appropriate capitalisation. I hope that didn't lose them many marks.

I'll pass that critique to them.

Bikes: Heavy, with friction shifters

Cool video of what looks like an awesome project you're running.

Bikes: Several, mostly not name brands.

I volunteer for a similar, but much less extensive, bike charity in my town:
https://riverviewgardens.org/earn-a-bike/

The bike project is only one aspect of the program, which includes a community organic farm and hydroponic vegetable production, maintenance contracts with local businesses and organizations, and jobs skills training serving the homeless, veterans, recently incarcerated, and other employment-disadvantaged people.

If your local community has a similar program, I encourage you to support it in whatever manner you can.
