Diamondback Sorrento Stem Size?
I'm helping a guy across town build up a vintage Diamondback Sorrento. He needs a quill stem amongst other things, Does it take a 22.2 or a 25.4 quill stem post size? Thank you.

That might depend on the year the bike was designed and made in. My poor searching skills suggest this model was first offered in 1994 up to at least 2016. I'll bet that at least a few different stem/steerer specs were used over the years. Andy
Ask the owner to try to slide a quarter, $.25, down into the steerer top. The quarter is just under 1" in diameter but too larger to fit inside a 22.2 ID.
