You need the right park tool and it comes off in 1 min without force. This is the ccp 1 and fits some shimano and old campagnolo and maybe others. See that threaded section in the crank arm is where the crank puller threads into.

Sidenote: the DERAILLEUR is Not at all set up correctly... watch some vids on Proper Front Derailleur Alignment before trying to tune it, ok?
the tail is WAY too high, etc. it almost looks like a "Grab and Bend" alignment job to me... if so, it may need to be replaced. sad.:notamused: |
Looking more closely at the photos, the NDS side has a bearing shield on top of the cartridge bearing. With a blade tip I would work that off. It shouldn't matter when pounding on something, but it may prevent the penetrant from getting to the rust.

For just a "might-as-well-try-it" trick, give the thing a Wack from the drive side a couple times which just might jar it loose a bit. You've got nothing to lose by trying and it's easy.
