i did buy a package of the large cloth covered ones once... about 40 years ago.
i bought a pair of M/C tie downs in 1987
then i went to work at the Washougal MX Park... the racers forget them after washing their bikes off, and leave them dangling from the fences.. rainy events were the most lucrative.
i still have a milk crate full of them, and a half dozen hanging in the garage for quick access.

the best finds from there are the bike stand/stool (my step stool in the house now), and a folding chair with the canvas seat and back.. the cool kind that snap-folds toward the Middle. that chair goes on my camping trips, and is a spare in the house.
