Hiya,

My wife has an x-mart bike (I know, I know...) with what I think are Shimano V-brakes front and back. The brake calipers have some problems and need to be replaced.

I'm looking at some inexpensive replacement calipers as available from Performance, Nashbar, etc..., and was wondering if V Brake mounting bosses are generally a standard size, or if they differ between models/brands?

Thanks,
-Bob

MTB fork bosses (and calipers) are of a standard size. I've never seen anything different.
