How to

I have a gt aggreeser 2.0. I am prety mechanical but I can't find out how to take of my forks to put new ones on. I have the head set off and the tire but there is a wedge there that i cant take out. is there any trick to take it out? I would really not like to break any thing as I'm low on cash

Bikes: Catrike 559 I own some others but they don't get ridden very much.

You might just need a bigger hammer. Seriously.

If you're afraid to hit it that hard, try spraying the steerer tube with a cartridge of CO2 and then immediately tap it with a hammer. The cold gas might shrink the steerer tube enough that it will drop out more easily. It's worked for me.

thanks, i just had to hit it a little harder and spray some wd-40 on it.
