Rear derailer install

I Have a Serotta frame and am having trouble mounting the rear derailer. I think they call them 3DXL dropouts, do I need an adapter? Or am I just an idiot? Trying to mount a 105.

Bikes: Catrike 559 I own some others but they don't get ridden very much.

Could you explain the specific problem you are having in more detail? I'm having a hard time picturing in my mind what your difficulty might be.

Bikes: '96 Litespeed Catalyst, '05 Litespeed Firenze, '06 Litespeed Tuscany, '20 Surly Midnight Special, All are 3x10. It is hilly around here!

Every rear derailleur and bike frame I've seen in the past 20 years has 10mm x 1mm threading and they all match up. I have no idea what "adapter" you may need. We need a better description of the problem.
