forks!!!

i'm looking to upgrad my forks as i have an otherwise beautiful and light xc race bike. i currently have marzocchi mz race '03 100mm forks. they are heavy and i've never had more than 50 - 60mm travel from them. forks should be light (pref air-sprung) any suggestions. £200, £300 ish. certainly no more i'm afraid. i have 60 dvd's for sale on ebay and will spend the profits!

I am just about to take some rock shox SID's off my bike to exchange for a pair of rigids. They might be suitable. They are a few years old now 99-00 I think, but were top of the range back then. After a good service they would be good as new again. Not sure of the weight, when I get them off the bike I can weigh them if you like.

I wouldn't buy anything other than a Fox... I don't think any other company has figure out how to make a fork that is light, durable AND stiff.
