Lugged frame to paint... I've got a question..
I'm getting ready to have a Bridgestone frame repainted. I am going to have it powder-coated and they will bake the frame at 400 degrees for 12 minutes. Will this harm the lugs?

Way too low a temp to do any damage to the lugs, brazing, silver soldering or welding.
Might anneal the frame a bit but that won't hurt it significantly.

There are dozens of forum members taht have had steel frames refinished by the powder coating process, including myself. I've not heard of any one that wasn't very pleased with the outcome.
