SR Alpine Sport?

I have an SR Alpine Sport in my garage (road bike). It was given to my son a few years ago. He used it to commute to college for a while then we gave it to some friends of ours after he didn't need it any longer. I just got it back tonight and am wondering. Has anyone heard of this brand, and what can you tell me about it?
It seems to be in resonably decent shape, will need adjusted and lubercated at the LBS, but other than that seems OK.

It's a 10 speed with friction shifters on the stem just below where the handlebars mount. The hubs are the same color as the frame, must be a match. It also has suicide brake levers.
