I have a new Specialized Roubaix that was perfect until last weekend. I had a light fall because I didn't clip out in time. The seat moved about 45 degrees in the fall as did the "bulge" on the handlebar (where the brakes, etc. are). I'm not explaining this very well because I don't know what the parts are called - sorry. Anyway, I fixed the seat with an allen key but can't figure out how to put the "bulge" in the right spot. Can anyone help? And also, because it's a full carbon bike, do you think I damaged the seat post in the impact?

I may be misunderstanding you, but I think that you just need to loosen the face plate of the stem (there should be 2 or 4 bolts) and then just slide the bars into the right place. I doubt the seatpost is damaged, but if you are worried just have your LBS have a look at it.

Typically when you buy a bike the LBS offers one or more free "tune-ups". I would take the bike back to the shop for a look-see. I'm not sure whether you have carbon handlebars or not, but this advice would be especially important if you have carbon handlebars, because bumps and nicks and crashes and overtorquing can ultimately lead to catastrophic failure.

BTW, if you do the repairs yourself be careful NOT to overtighten the bolts. Smart mechanics know that if you torque a bolt so tight that a component will never move if bumped, then that component is likely to break instead of simply moving if impacted.
