aerobar setup problem
hey guys,i've just recieved the aerobar i ordered from ebay, the profile design sonic stryke,it says its multi fit and suposed to fit 26mm and 31mm handle bars.
when im trying to mount it,its still to big on the handlebars, looks like it only fits the 31mm bars,i've recieved 4 shims with it,the question is if for 26mm handlebar i use only 2 shims? and for 31mm i use 4? or i need special grippers or clamps so itll fit the 26? any idea anyone?

I've got some old aerobars from profile design. If yours are anything like mine, the "shims" are metal. and 2 different shapes. For a 26mm handlebar, you stick one shim above the bar and one below it. Then the clamp should fit. In other words, 2 shims per side. Also each shim should have a little raised bump. That bump matches an indentation in the clamp to keep them from sliding after you tighten them.
I hope that makes sense. I'm too lazy to take a picture of my bike.
