paint in BB
I just repainted an old schwinn frame and despite what I thought was a geat masking job I got a little paint in the BB on the adjustable cone side.
A. Am I screwed
B. How should I gt it out?
Also the cup is wierd looking, there is no pin holes but rather a hex-like nut surrounding the spindle hole. It looks like a cup for a one piece crank but it isn't. Anyone familiar with these?

It is unlikely to be thick enough to be a problem unless the threads are obscured or filled in. Absent an appropriate tap you could get a wire with 1/10 or 1/8" diameter, sharpen the end to a point in a grinder and bend it over to 90D and use that to clean the bottom of the threads following with a small wire brush. Most likely you won't have any problem screwing in the cup, especially if it has a hex fitting on it for a wrench. Hex fitting is not unusual on older BB cones.
