How does this Topeak Mini Master Blaster work?

I bought one of these on a sale rack. It came with no instructions. The website says - l ^SmartHead automatically adjusts to fit Presta and Schrader valves ^ but I must be wearing a DumbHead cuz I can't figure it out. It works fine with the Schrader, but I have been using an adapter for Presta. What gives?

Take it apart and turn the little rubber thing so it's facing the opposite way. It's not the easiest to explain but if you unscrew enough stuff and fool around with it long enough you'll get it.

Just unscrew the cap around the valve opening, there's a little rubber cylinder inside. Take it out and flip it around then put it back in and screw the cap back on. Voila!

I thought you were only supposed to ask such questions during a group ride when you get a flat. ;p DOH

If it's a "smart head", I don't think you're supposed to have to take it apart and put it together. "SmartHead technology means this adapter works on both Presta and Schraeder valves without changing any parts or buying 2 separate adapters "
Did you remember to unscrew the end of the presta valve? Also, you have to push presta a long way in.

The Mini Master Blaster does require you to flip the little rubber thingy.
