2001 Campy Record Lubrication

I'm new to Campagnolo, and a little lost regarding lubrication of the various components of the 2001 Record group. The Campy literature I have doesn't help much!
First, can anyone give me recommended lubrication intervals for the various parts, together with your recommendations for lubricants.
Secondly, I've tried using a needle adapter on a grease gun for the hub ports, but it doesn't seal, so the grease just squirts out the port. What should I be using?
Finally, with the Record bearings, do force new grease until the old grease oozes out somewhere?
I'd certainly appreciate any guidance!
Thanks.

Here is a link I posted here with exploded views of campy components.

I went to the Campy site, to look at the tech manuals. I did not see any grease injection ports of any type on any of thier componets. This is confusing. The der. really should not need any grease unless you ride in alot of mud and water. In that case you just lube the pivots. A dry lube in a drip bottle will suffice.
As far as the rest headset, hubs, a waterproof grease will work fine. Not though bearing grease you use for car's. Bike bearing grease is much lighter. Park makes some good stuff, so does Pedro's. Interval's of lubrication, well depending on your conditions of the ride, every winter. The grease in the hubs and headset will change in viscosity from hot weather to cold it is always reccomended yuo change it then.
The bottom bracket is sealed so no grease needed. The brakes same as the der., just do the pivot's.
When you notice shifting starting to get a little friction, pull out the cables and grease them lightly then re insert. That should be al you need to do. Record is real nice stuff and requires little to no maintenance.

The ports on the hubs are NOT grease injectors, they are meant to be used by pro team mechanics to inject OIL into the hubs, when being used for time trials. Using oil rather than grease is a very old trick used to to lower friction and reduce time. On older models, the ports on the cassette housing can be used to inject grease into the sealed bearings that are mounted on the outside of the housing, this is probably still true for the new models as well.

It is a good idea to use a light lubricant on the derailleur and brake pivots, brake lever pivots, derailleur pulleys and on the end of the brake springs, (I use silicon myself as it does not attract dirt )

The seals on Campy Record are too good for grease injection to work, and make it unnecessary in normal use. Record is also the easiest cup and come hub to strip and rebuild.
