front fork replacement

Just purchased a new fork. What else will I need for the install? I want to do it myself.

Bikes: Trek 4300 X 2. Trek 1000, Trek 6000

You'll need the crown race that goes to your headset. Probably on your current fork. Search the web for "crown race removal." Or you can just search for replacing bicycle fork.

If you don't know what tools or how to do it, are you sure you bought the correct fork?
