Front derailler help

I need help with properly adjusting/reinstalling my front derailler on my Loki. I had it professionaly built, but when I would ride it on the middle ring, and 8th gear, the chain would rub along the plate of the front derailler, as I would try and go fast. I took it off a couple weeks back and would like to put it on, but not sure how to exactly, and where to position it exactly. I have tried messing with it before many many times, but I took it off because anything I tried to do would not work. Thanks for any help.

I would use the ParkTool site as your reference:

What kind of shifters do you have? How many cogs (gears) in the back?
Most Shimano triple shifters have two positions to be used when on the middle chainring to avoid chain rub on the derailleur.
