Is this axle going to fit!?!?

Well, this is the situation: I've purchased a track wheelset a while ago, planning on putting myself together a fun fixed gear conversion. Now, I originally had an old one-speed cruiser frame, possibly a schwinn, and the problem was that the axle on the front wheel was too large for the fork drop outs, so I had to file down the drop outs to get the wheel to fit. I'm moving on to an 80's Raleigh road frame, and I just want to know if the axle is going to fit, or if I am going to have to do some filing again. So if any of you could let me know, or know a way to figure out, that would be really helpful. Thanks in advance!!!

Shouldn't be a problem for an '80s bike.

A friend has an early '70's Raleigh road bike and a "modern" front hub with a 9 mm axle fits fine in the original fork.
