Avid BB7 Road Brakes and Cantilever Lever Compatibility?
Have searched, but found nothing addressing this directly...
Avid BB7 Road Disc Brakes are made for drop levers, but will they work with canti levers, too? Would they work well? Along the same lines, is it right that the BB7 "non-road" brakes are only for use with V-brake levers? Thanks.

Still kicking.
They should work, if all else fails, get a set of v-brake levers if the canti levers don't.

The answer to your first question is yes, drop bar levers that will work with traditional cantilever brakes will work with the BB7 Road brakes. With drop bars, traditional cantis use levers that are also compatible with road caliper brakes, which is the same type of lever the BB7 Road brakes are designed for. The lever that I'm aware of for drop bars that works with v-brakes (linear pull) are the Dia-Compe 287-V levers. The answer to your other question is yes, the original (mountain bike) BB7 brakes are designed to work with levers that work with v-brakes.
