Stems - 25.8 clamp size OK for 26.0 handlebar?
Looking at stems such as made by Richey and I see that Richey's web site lists them as a 25.8 size (Richey makes a 25.8 handlebar) but I see people selling the same stem marked as a 26.0 clamp size. I noted on Sheldon's web site that the 25.8 stem size is made as "between" size with expectation that people can use it for a 25.4 or a 26.0 handlebar. Not sure I would use a 25.8 stem with a 25.4 handlebar but I am interested in using it with a 26.0 handlebar.
Is there a problem using a 26.0 handlebar in a 25.8 stem**********

I think you'll be fine with a 26.0 handlebar and a 25.8 stem. I have a Ritchey Adjustable Pro, and the box it came in had "25.8/26.0" checked as the size. I've been using it with a standard 26 mm handlebar for a few months with no apparent issues.
