Need Front Fork For Trek.....

I currently am just getting back on this site due to last year the day I got my new bike, I was run off the road by a lady not paying attention to where she was driving her POS and as I went to jump the rocks that were keeping me from getting out of her way, the PIECE OF CRAP JUDY J1 shocks compressed way too far, and on my pull up and over the boulders, my front tire hit the rock and my right foot slipped off the pedal. This would not have been a large problem except for the part of the story that goes like this......... there was a steep decline on the other side of those rocks and I may have been able to navigate them better if the SPROCKET had not landed on my leg inbetween my calf and ankle and went farther into my leg with each little bump. Once I reached the bottom of the hill I felt a warm liquid flowing down my leg, to my surprise it was ALL BLOOD, my shoe was in a pool of it, I could see muscle and tendons going all over the place and I couldn't hardly walk. Did I mention this was while I was at spring traning trying to earn a spot on a Minor League team? Well, long story short, I made it to the hospital, got stitched up, somehow kept the injury from the front office, made a team, and am ready to start riding again. This happened last march. I need to replace the front shock with something a little more STURDY, i don't care if it's just a solid pice either, I don't want shocks, I hate them, and I don't have a large amount of money to spend on this. SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME YOU HAVE AN ANSWER FOR ME! I won't get back on my bike till I have something I know will react just as I think it will when I need it most, not BUCKLE and overload the shock and throw off the timing and cause another accident like this one! THANK YOU FOR LISTENING TO MY RANT.......... please somebody help

Rigid fork. I'd expect to pay 35 on up to god knows how much $ for one, depending on how nice/light/new it is. Without being willing to spend a decent amount of money that will be your safest bet.

1: bashguard.
2: rigid fork.

I feel your pain - there's a discolored lump in my foot where a wound hasn't quite healed when a pedal snapped as I was in a standing sprint. Bike+200 pounds of me pressed the chainring into my heel.

I ride a franken bike that features Nashbar's 26" rigid fork (suspension corrected) set up with disk brake mounts. I love it, and I got it on sale last year for about $35, though it's normaly $60. Hope you're on the mend in the meantime.

A much more polite posting of my questions? How about you KISS MY @$$ buddy, there was nothing in there that wasn't polite unless you of course are the designer of the J1 shocks in which case I'd love to meet you in person so I can personally thank you for all the pain and HUGE RIP OFF you were.

I've got 3 rigid, threaded mtb forks im my garage right now. They have canti bosses on them. I don't think a threaded fork will work for you, though.

PM me if it will - I'll let them go cheap.
