wheelbuild question
Hello,
I'm going to have Mike Garcia build me a set of Niobium 30 wheels on a 20h front and 24h rear setup on DT 240s hubs. Now the question is... Will stiffness and stability improve if I have him use a DT Swiss RR 1.2 rear rim instead of the Niobium 30 because of the low spoke count? I weigh about 175lbs and only ride recreationally.
I know the 24h rear setup might be pushing it with the low spoke count but I got the 240s hubs for a great deal on Ebay.
Thanks!

The best thing is to ask Mike. He is going to do the wheels and he will not steer you wrong, because he will want his product to hold up.

Probably would be stiffer, as the weight is higher -- assuming good engineering on DT's side. Necessary or preferable? Depends on rider and intended use.
