Italian BB loosening - on the non-drive side

Any ideas as to a solution for this problem? It's a cup-and-cone Campy Nuovo Record BB, Italian threaded with the thick cups and 115.5 mm spindle. Not matter how well I tighten it, it just keeps coming loose. Anyone else had this problem?

Is that the usual side that comes loose? I put blue LocTite on mine so long ago that I've forgotten.

No, the drive side is the normal one. I'm probably gonna pull it all out tomorrow and LocTite it just because.

Actualy your wrong. On an ITALIAN bottom bracket it tightens in the same direction as pedaling the bike forward. Drive side cups come loose with BSA threadding when theyre not tightened enough.

If your non drive cup is coming out its because the threads on either your cup, or shell are worn. Usualy from being run loose. Because of this it slips back out of adjustment.

Blue loctite or teflon tape will solve your issue completly. I fix 4 or 5 bikes weekly that need that.

Actually you are wrong. Italian BB's have a tendency to loosen in use. English threaded BB's loosen when they are not installed correctly. Don't take my word for it.

I had the same problem. Just make sure it's really really tight. Don't forget to grease the threads.
