Bikes: Trek 4300 X 2. Trek 1000, Trek 6000

Bottom Bracket Tools.

I am only familiar with the cartridge bottom bracket tool. I now have an older Trek Hybrid with Suntour parts. I presume the BB is suntour as well. How do i learn what tool to use? I can post pics later if necessary.

You need a lock ring spanner and a pin spanner. Just like the two I went out to my shop and took pictures of below:

Thanks. Looks like it might be just about as affordable to swap to cartrige style, at least as i go forward. I was just wanting to tighten it and i can get lbs to do that in the short term.
