Frame Prep for Decals

I have some sticker type decals that go over the clearcoat, and I'm wondering what I should do to my frame before putting the stickers on to make sure they stick. Right now there's probably a thin amount of grease all over because I've been working on the bike, assembling it with greasy hands. I could towel it down, but I still doubt that'd do as good as some cleaning things might. Any ideas/experience here?

THanks,

Kyle

dewaxer if you got it, but some good citrus cleaner should get any film off. Just make sure you're drying with a clean, lint-free towel.

clean with a spray cleaner as mentioned - the citrus stuff work well on normal grease & grime, I like windex citrus for bike frame cleaning, it doesn't leave a film like some heavy citrus cleaners can.

Wipe the area clean with rubbing alcohol & let dry right before applying decal or sticker.

-Now don't go grabbing that sticker with greasy hands!
Have clean hands when applying the decals.
